Skincare: Eye makeup remover

I can't remember when I became a person who have to put mascara on almost everyday. Since then, I am always looking for the best eye makeup remover. The ones I have tried are:
1) Lancome - pretty good one, and won several awards, I used 2-3 bottles, nothing wrong with it, I just want to try something else
2) Biotherm - it's gel remover, very gental, feels pretty good, but not clean very well
3) BB - very irratate, only used once, threw away already, what a waste
4) Clarin's - gental, kinda oily, didn't like it
5) H20 - 2 tone style, shake well to use, oily, not clean either
6) Chanel - my current favor, the best so far, also 2 tones, no irratation, very clean

7) Talika - Since I am now an offical Talika Lipocils fan, I decided to give a shot on it's eyecare prodcuts. It's eye makeup remover is as good as Chanel's, maybe even more gental and cleaner, and it's $5 cheaper... :P

Working from home today

I rarely work from home, though many colleagues do. My concern is that boss would think I am a slacker... :P I supposed to pick up R at airport this noon, that's why I requested to work from home, along with some deadlines due next week. Anyhow, I feel people do think differently, like when I told my boss I need to stay at home to concentrate on the work today, she even told me it's fine if I want to stay at home for more days.

I feel so relexed at home, I was in my BJ and had towel wrapped on my head while having a conf call, it reminded me these working from home writers. And in fact, I did get more work done and even find little time to blog...

R is back tomorrow, 4 weeks, what a trip he had.

One fine day...

It supposed to be a fine day today, everything was perfect, nice launches, nice releases, nice dinner at banana leaf, till i went back home, and felt down in front of my own door... :( it's actually pretty hurt, and after shower, now my left arm starts to swollen, and I have a band-aid on my right wrist, where looks like I just cut myself, no, i didn't do it... It's 18th days home alone, time flies, really! I have already broke my record and I am keeping up and counting...

Btw, I really like the idea where you can now download TV shows directly from iTunes the next day, so I can set myself free on Sunday night and no need to wait for the new episode of DH, $1.99 isn't too bad, of course, free is always better...

Talika Eyelash Lipocils

I have to share with you girls whom are reading my blog... :) I'd like ask you first - do you believe the miracle... this is somewhat the tagline I steal from La mer, but I have to tell ya all, that thing isn't a "miracle" to me, tho I am happy with the result... but really, the Talika Eyelash Lipocils is really SOMETHING! I bought it last Sunday in VF's Sphora, and only tried about 4-5 times, and I do see my lower eyeslash grew, isn't it amazing?! For my upper ones, I did feel they are getting healthier, lose less when I was using the eye makeup remover. If you follow the instruction and use it twice a day, I bet you will see better results than I have. GO-GET-IT! :D

This is another thing I read first on Barbie Hsu's book, the tip she also gave is that you can use it on your eyebrow too...

I am not sure how big it is, but it looks super cool to me... :) just imagine that you can insert your SIM and you are on the road to browse! Hopefully it is a touch screen, too!

T3 Tourmaline Hair Dryer

I finally got my dream T3 dryer yesterday, and couldn't wait to try it. What can I say.... it's super super light weight, but it didn't reduce much my dry time as mentioned by others, like 60% of total drying time?! Since my hair wasn't fuzzy enough to tell if the ionic worked or not, I can't give comments on it. Later this morning, I found out my hair is more manageable than before, not sure if the dryer really did anything to it. Better yet, I ordered 2 T3 brushes last night, will tell more on it once I recieve them. Over all, I don't recommend it for the price tag and the result I got, but given the light weight, I think I am keeping it...

We went on the wine trip with ZJ, Tow and his coworkers satuday morning. Visited the Savannah Chanelle and Testarossa Vineyards in the Santa Cruz mountains. I thought they should be near Santa Cruz, but finally noticed that they are both so close... :P one is at Saratoga hill and Testarossa is on the Los Gatos hill! We both are not too impressive by the wines there since we are all Merlot fans... :P and they seem don't have these there, or at least Merlots are not on the tasting list. The Pinots at Testarossa actually are pretty good, and the good ones are around $60 a bottle... kinda pricy...

This is so cool, yet cute :P I played this mouse yesterday in the store, very impressed by the left/right button sensor and the joystick. The stick itself felt a little bit small to me, I guess that's just bcoz my logitech one is too big... and it goes very well with all the Macs... hmm, now my logitech mouse looks like a poor thing... i am really 喜新厌旧at this point...

Google Adsense

You probably noticed that I put the "Google ad" back to my blog. I removed it by accident couple weeks ago while i was updating the template... then last night, I got an email from google asking me about the missing "ad"... :P

The reason I put it on my blog is because it looks "cool", didn't expect i will get any traffic on it, but guess what?! I found I have $1.05 in my google adsense account already and now they are asking me to fill out a "W-9" or something to claim the money... sigh...
